Equipped
for High Temperature, High Performance Molding
HPTP's
mold at temperatures three to five times higher than standard
plastics. For example, Torlon molds at 370 °C; PEEK at 350
°C.
HPTP
have unique molding characteristics. Semi-crystalline and
amorphous polymers melt, flow and cool differently, as do
filled and non-filled resins. Control of the injection molding
process is vital.
China
Array uses Welltec
injection molding machines with Bosch hydraulic valves and
Intermot high torque motors, nitrate hardened alloy screws
and barrels, and ceramic heater bands. The machines develop
pressures and speeds 40% higher than others in their class.
Xaloy screw/barrel assemblies
are used for specialized applications.
Wittmann
oil mold temperature controllers maximize cycle effectiveness.
Matsui desiccant resin dryers prepare resins to tight drying
tolerances, which are measured with a Sartorius-Omnimark moisture analyzer
down to 500 ppm.
